KIMMY’S STORY
I won the free photoshoot and was so excited, although due to work commitments I almost couldn’t go as there was a time limit for how long I had to book. I loved the whole day the makeup artist was lovely. I told her the look I wanted and she really worked with my skin tones and my makeup looked incredible.
Michael was amazing and listened to what I wanted. I gave Michael an idea and he let me try it out those photos look incredible and might be used as poses for future shoots, on the bed legs up against the headboard. When looking at the touched up pictures to the untouched ones I wasn’t aware how amazing I looked in both of them. (I thought my body had more chunk than what was captured).
I loved the whole experience and would definitely go again. I had been searching for a photoshoot like this for a while but never found what I was looking for until I sent that email enquiring about location and entering the competition. I have more poses that would look amazing that I would love to try. For any girl out there looking for an uplifting incredible journey all I can say is go for it! Michael puts you at ease and only does what you are happy to do. I went full naked as well as outfits and I felt so liberated. “It only took me 15 years to built up my courage to do this! I wish I had done it earlier because the experience is truly unique, empowering and left me with a new appreciation for my 63 year old life-battle worn body! But the team at My Beautiful Boudoir made me feel comfortable and relaxed, from start to finish, and forget quickly all the barriers that existed in my head. The studio is conveniently located a short walk from Leicester station and easy to find. It is a beautiful open space with sections for different scenes, a changing room and toilet. My make up was stunning and complete with false eyelashes made me look and feel like a film star – thank you Dee, you are so talented! Michael discussed with me what type of photos and style I wanted to achieve and helped me with the order of changes and talked me through the entire process. Getting me posing in various ways was fun and Michael knew how to make me feel relaxed but also pushed me a bit beyond my limits. He is very enthusiastic and professional, and clearly enjoys achieving the best results with fun and in a relaxed style. It never felt forced or too much, however I now have a new appreciation for model’s and photographer’s jobs! Michael can make anyone look and feel fantastic from behind the camera! I highly recommend him and My Beautiful Boudoir! I think anyone and particularly us older people should take this unique chance to see ourselves in a new and surprisingly beautiful way! And let’s face it we all get older and find it harder to like our bodies, but here is a unique opportunity to see and feel confident in our bodies with the help of this super team. The photos themselves were already at the raw stage stunning and Michael showed me some during the session which really was a boost! But we were so happy with the final retouched photos which were my gift to my husband for our wedding anniversary. We particularly liked the body art shots – absolutely amazing! They blew us away and never in my dreams would I have imagined that it could be me in those photos! Our boudoir studio is located right in the city of Leicester, with numerous paid parking facilities available. 5mins from Leicester train station makes it easily accessible all over the Midlands and UK – Nottingham, Derby, Northampton, Coventry, Birmingham and surrounding areas, are just over an hour away.
Not everyone feels comfortable having their pictures taken, after all it’s not a natural thing to do. Our clients are everyday women just like yourself and not professional models. Majority didn’t like having their pictures taken, felt unsexy, nervous or not photogenic. However, all that changed when they stepped into our boudoir studio. That’s why we endeavour to keep you relaxed at all times throughout your session. We assist with your poses and always give you feedback on how well you’re doing.
To confirm any booking made, we always require a booking fee to ensure that there is a vested interest in attending your session. For giveaway sessions, this fee is transferrable booking fee of £50. This fee can subsequently be used to purchase retouched digital photos or prints during your session.
Indeed you can purchase your pictures. We have several options and products to choose from with prices starting from just £39.99/photo (sold in sets).
Absolutely not. There is no obligation for you to buy any photos during or after your session. We do not have a sales team and do not believe in high pressure selling approach.
